The next step is taken! It is accomplished! We have just completed our SIM orientation and `overview' training. We spent 3 intensive days reading, listening and praying. We met an incredible group of people who were also there for their training. We are all going in different directions (Malawi, Angola, Canada, Zambia, Bolivia and India), to do different things but we all have a heart for serving our Lord. A big thanks to Jen's sister for opening her home to us for those 3 days - saved a lot of driving.
We are now moving on to complete the rest of our list prior to leaving. We continue to build our support team. We are getting closer to covering our financial needs. We still also need people to sign up as prayer partners. If you are interested in either of these pleased be in touch with us. We are also working our way through our shots - almost there except a shortage in Typhoid vaccine means we cannot complete Jen's shots just yet. Do you know anyone in the pharmaceutical industry who could help??
We hope to have our travel plans arranged in the next few days so we can have a firm date for planning departures etc.
Cheers and God bless.
Brian
